Frequently asked questions
Everything people ask about Huko before they adopt their first virtual pet.

Questions and answers
What is Huko?
Huko is a virtual pet game for iPhone and Android. You adopt an animal, look after it (feed, wash, play, sleep), watch it grow up, dress it and decorate its rooms.
Is Huko free?
Yes, Huko is free to download and play. It shows a short video ad after every third mini game, which you can remove with a one-time purchase. Packs of special food are optional purchases too.
Does Huko work offline?
Yes. Everything is stored on your phone and the game works with no internet connection at all.
Do I need an account?
No. An account is optional and only needed for cloud save, sharing your pet with a code and looking after one pet together with others.
Can my virtual pet die?
No, never. If you forget your pet it becomes hungry and sad, but it is always waiting for you.
Which animals can I adopt?
Eight: cat, dog, hamster, bunny, fox, panda, elephant and lion, each in four or five coats. You can keep up to six pets.
How long does it take for my pet to grow up?
A baby becomes young at level 3 and grown-up at level 5. With normal daily care that is about a week.
Can we look after one pet together?
Yes. With an account, up to four people can care for the same pet, each on their own phone. Everyone can feed, wash and play with it.
Which languages does Huko speak?
The app is available in 29 languages, including English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, French, Italian, Polish and Hungarian.
Is Huko suitable for children?
Huko is gentle: no violence, and the pet never dies. It does show ads and offers optional in-app purchases, so parents may want to check the store age rating and the purchase settings on their child's phone.
What data does Huko collect?
Without an account your pet stays on your phone. Usage statistics are off until you switch them on. The privacy policy explains everything.
